Our giving is a reflection of our faith. We give because of God's love in our life and giving beyond ourselves helps us live like God created us. Everything we have comes from God, and we give so that others can experience God's love through the ministry of the church.
First United Methodist Church offers the option of giving to the church through Electronic Funds Transfers.
What is e-tithing?
‘E’ in this case stands for Electronic. It’s a convenient way for those committed to giving on a weekly or monthly basis to give consistently. The offering will be automatically drafted from a checking and/or savings account as authorized by the donor on a selected date(s).
How Does it Work?
Here’s how it works: you authorize a specified amount of money to be electronically transferred directly from your checking or savings account to the Church. This way your offering becomes a part of your budget on a consistent basis throughout the year. It’s fast, safe, and easy.
There are two ways to sign up for this giving opportunity: download the e-tithing form, fill out and return to the church office with a voided check or to go to My First UMC to sign in, click on the giving tab and set up your automatic donation.
